Follow this visual guide to configure academic classes, sections, compulsory and elective subjects, periods, and fee structures in Schoex.
This module establishes the foundational data structure for fee billing, student enrollment, and exam tabulations.
First, navigate to the Class Setup tab in Schoex. Click on "New / Modify" to define each class offered at your school or college (e.g. Playgroup, Nursery, Prep, Grade 1 through 10, Matric, F.Sc, O-Levels).
Here you can assign the total maximum subjects, class teacher in-charge, and wing category (Junior Wing, Boys High School, Girls College).
Select the Subject Tab. Pick the class created in Step 1, and add all subjects taught in that grade (e.g., Mathematics, English, Urdu, Islamiyat, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science).
You can classify subjects as either Compulsory or Optional, assign unique subject codes (e.g. MTH-09), group them by category (Science / Arts), and specify maximum weekly periods for timetable generation.
Navigate to the Fee Package Setup. Define class-level fees (a combined package covering tuition, lab, exams, and extracurricular activities for that specific grade).
Once saved, whenever any student is enrolled in this class, Schoex automatically assigns this fee package to their monthly voucher, saving your accounts clerk from repetitive manual entry.
Schoex gives you instant search filters to review subjects, fee allocations, and teacher period allocations across all classes and sessions.
Easily modify fee structures at the start of a new academic session with the "Carry Forward & Update Fee" batch wizard.
Our technical support team provides complimentary remote assistance via AnyDesk or TeamViewer to configure your complete class structure and fee heads.
